Christmas Pictures

Today we took some pictures of the kids before church and thought they turned out cute.

Christmas is Here!!

The kids were so excited this year for Christmas. On Christmas eve they set our cookies, juice and milk for Santa. When they awoke in the am they were happy to see that Santa enjoyed their cookies, milk and juice. Santa brought Zek the drums to Rock Band for the WII. Mya got a bed for her dollies to sleep in and thought it was great. She also got a nerf gun like Zek and was really excited. Mya has been so cranky these past two weeks. After waiting at the doctor for 2 hrs we found out she has a sinus infection. I am glad she is feeling better and starting to sleep again. Christmas was great! Most of Scotts family was here and that was a lot of fun. We missed those that weren't here. I am happy to report that we are doing well and have enjoyed the holidays.

Roach Christmas Party Fun

The party went really well the kids all had a great time playing together. Mya got a sleeping beauty dress up and loved it!! She had to wear it immediately. She also has Cinderella from Halloween. It was good to see and hear from all that were there. Those that weren't were missed. Merry Christmas! Special shout out to Lisa thanks for showing me how to do my blog, since I had no clue. :)

It's a girl!

IT'S A GIRL! TODAY WE FOUND OUT WE ARE HAVING A GIRL. The kids both wanted a boy, but I'm sure they will enjoy a sister. We haven't yet decided on a name. We like Calee, Ali or Tori. Who knows maybe it will change. If anyone has suggestions, let us know. Tonight is the ward party and the kids are excited to see Santa. Well Mya does not, "want to sit on his knee!" We talked and she agreed to stand beside him so we will see. I will post pictures of it another day :) Merry Christmas to everyone.

The First Snow

Pictures below are sideways because I am retarded at the blog thing. I am still learning and trying to figure things out. The kids loved the snow! They played in it until it was dark. They went for a walk with Scott and called from the end of the lane and asked if I would have hot chocolate waiting for them. All though it snowed again today, there is no snow on the ground. Both kids are getting extremely excited for Christmas. Zek keeps looking at the gifts and asking when he gets to open one and if he gets to pick which one on Christmas eve. I told him he doesn't get to pick. He said he would ask nicely and say please, but I still said no. Mya asks every night, "is santa coming?" I respond, "not until Christmas" she then proceedes to tell me, "no mom christmas even." Then we both laugh. She doens't quite understand. She watches movies with Santa and then says " I don't want him in our house." She will soon learn the joy of Santa. Zek is reading so well I can't believe it. There are some days ok most days he doesn't want to read, but then he does and he is so good at it. I am continually amazed by my children and the things they say and do. Thank you everyone for your comments. I enjoy hearing from you.

Ok so I will try to be better at this. We have had an eventful week. Thanksgiving was great. Lots of food, family and fun. The kids went with grandma and grandpa to pick out the Christmas tree. Scott had to work and I wasn't in the best shape. On black friday I tried to go shopping with family. I ended up passing out at wal-mart and then had to be ambulenced to the hospital. Not so much fun. :) Everything is fine. They aren't sure why I passed out but I did. I had breakfast and plenty of water but everything they looked at seemed normal. Then on Wednesday of this week Scotts mom and I both got the flu! YUCK!! around 1pm Zek came home from school because he was sick too. Needless to say, not much had gotten done this week. Other than that things are going well. Scott is working hard and is a great dad. The kids don't let him rest when he is home and I can't do anything for them as good as there dad. LOL!

So it has been a busy week. Zek going to school and then bringing home a letter saying that he had to have a shot or he wouldn't be able to go to school. Different rules here in Utah. Zek has been busy helping Grandpa and Dad in the workshop. Mya loves otterpops. Who knew someone could enjoy them as much as her. Thats the first thing she asks for when she wakes and the last thing before bed. Zek and Mya love Christmas music. Zek will listen to grandma got ran over by a reindeer over and over again. He is excited for Christmas and Christmas tree hunting. We will go hunting on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Mya thinks she needs to go to school with Zek everyday, she is so worried that she'll miss something. She loves her daddy and her Grandpas!
