For Angie and the buddies

I thought this would be fun to do:

The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me for you ! I get to pick what I make for you, but it will be especially for you.

**Here is the deal:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. You will receive it sometime this year.
4. You have no clue what it will be.
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

** The Catch
The catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FABULOUS homemade gift by me!!! So come and play along

Looking Back

So I have no new pics to put on because the kids have been sick again! Here are a couple of good memories we had last year.

Mya- is growing growing growing-all her pants are short but still fit in the waist.
Her latest is "mom I can't walk, carry me"

Zek- never stops talking no matter what from sun up til sun down.
His latest is "mom thats pretty good huh" about everything he does or anyone else does.

Last Friday the kids enjoyed playing with their cousins while the moms scrapbooked and made hair bows for the girls. Saturday we went to Andy and Lisas so Scott could help with the shed they are building the kids had fun outside with Gabby. On Sunday we went to Little Damion (turned 2) and Gabriellas (turned 1) birthday party it was a lot of fun and the kids loved being together. Both kids miss their papa and grandma patty. We love you!!

Zeks hair cut/bathtime

Here is Zeks haircut mom-he smiled just for you! He is so excited for summer and can't wait for it to be warmer-he wants to wear flip flops to school, but then Grandma Naylor reminded him that he wouldn't be able to run fast in GYM-so he went for tennis shoes instead.

Mya is a fish oh excuse me (a mermaid) when she gets in the tub. She loves the water and having the whole bathtub to herself. Her hair is growing so fast. She is learning new things everyday. Last night when asked what PJs she would be wearing her response "um I think a night in gale (nightgown)." She loves playing outside and would stay there all day if I let her although only for a little while by herself. She looks up to her big brother and thinks he is the greatest until he starts being bossy-then she doesn't want to play with him. Who can blame her??

Watches

Here they are! I learned how to make the watches with the interchangeable wristbands. They are really easy and really fast. Paula and I had a lot of fun making them today. We decided we need to get our own beads and make some more-its way cheaper then buying them already made.

Mya was playing so nice outside with her baby I decided to take a picture. Zek is still at school so I will have to get one of him later this afternoon-if he will cooperate. It is a beautiful day here and we are enjoying the sunshine. After I took the picture she proceeded to pull out Grandmas flowers ( thankfully she only pulled the dead ones out.)

PS if anyone has any suggestions on how to handle a 5 1/2 year old I am open. I am running out of ideas and don't know what else to do. :)

Carseat Cover

Here it is! I am so happy with it and greatful to Scotts mom for attempting it. Isn't it sooo cute. We are excited to have it done and ready for the new baby and I got all the girl clothes washed today-what a long day of laundry. Sorry its sideways but my computer said my file cannot be rotated this time??? IDK

Spring Projects

Scott finished the girls dresser! Its so nice. We are excited to be adding another child to the family and Mya is excited to get a sister. Only 6 more weeks to go!!! I also learned how to make flower bows for the girls hair-they are really fun and cute. Next week I get to learn how to make the bumbo watches. I also get to attend for the first time ever the Scrapbook Fair :) I can't wait.

Sunday Dress

OK mom here is Mya in her new Easter Dress and Zek. You have to remember when we were kids and would not pose for you at all. As you can tell from the pictures they didn't really want to take them. Zeks hair is way too long by the way and he is in need for a haircut. Mya loves her new dress and her boomers (bloomers that cover her underware). She had a great day in nursery today. And Scott and I are glad to be done talking.

Cheesey Kids

Ok. So we went to the Draper Temple open house today and the kids thought it was really neat. They had us sit down in the sealing room and Zek asked me, " Mom who do we get to watch get married?" But of course I forgot my camera so no pics yet. Lisa was kind enough to take a few but I don't have them yet. The day was long starting at 5 am to get ready and be to the temple by 10am. We then went to lunch with Scotts dad for his 54th Birthday!! Happy Birthday Grandpa. Since Grandma Patty wants pictures the kids agreed with very chessy smiles. We hope you like the pics. Love and Miss You! PS This week we had two beautiful days in the upper 50s we were getting excited for spring. But when we awoke on Thursday morning we had to be reminded that its still winter with yucky spring snow!!

For Mom

I was talking with my mom this week and she asked if I had updated my blog. I said, "no we haven't had a very interesting week." She reminded me that when your grandkids are faraway its always interesting. This week I had parent teacher conferences with Zeks teacher and she said she doesn't know what else to teach him. His dibbles scores are all off the charts (i.e. a regular score is 18 he scored a 52 in one of the sections). No wonder he gets bored at home he isn't really getting challenged. Oh and just for everyones info. Zek has decided that he will start collecting bannana peels. LOL! not going to happen. Funny story he thinks he needs to start collecting something because grandma naylor collects spoons, Lisa collects globes, Julie collects shot glasses his cousins collect rocks (which he did not want to do) and grandma patty used to collect tins. So he was so excited when he came up with the idea to collect bannana peels-then I had to break his heart and tell him he couldn't collect bannana peels.

I had a doctors appt. this week and everything looks great only 8 more weeks to go!! Although I am hoping less :) Mya has been sick all week and really isn't getting better eventhough she has been on antibiotics for 3 days, so I guess we will see the doctor again this week. On Friday we get to go to the Draper Temple open house so I will update then.

PS Sorry Mom Zek did not want his picture taken this week, He still loves and misses you.
