1 Week Old

Today Chaysee is one week. I can't believe how time flies. Although when you're pregnant its not as fast. Chaysee is a really good baby and has been wonderful to have in our family. The kids are really taking a liking to her and that is good.

For those of you who watched wife swap last week (I only saw part) but they did this behavior thing with stones for their kids-WORKS! Zek has been so much better since we started doing this. Everyday He gets his 10 rocks back in his jar and at the end of the day we count them. If by the end of the week he has at least half (35) then he can get a treat or something small. He is really excited and trying really hard.

Thanks again to everyone for your gifts for the baby and your support.

Egg Dying

Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Dying

Yesterday we went to Julies to dye eggs and have an egg hunt. The pictures are not great, since it was raining. The kids still had a lot of fun looking for their eggs. The egg dying was a little different it took a lot of patience on the kids part, which was hard. But for the most part I think they enjoyed themselves.

Spring Adventures

Spring Outdoor Adventures

Today it was warm enough to play outside and the kids had a lot of fun. We decided to go for a walk and see what colors we could find. The kids loved it they thought it was so much fun to look for different colors outside. We found green, yellow, red and the big rock pile. The kids jumped the on the tramp and got to swing.

Only in Utah

Only in Utah can you go from a nice spring day to this in 12 hrs. Yuck! I am so ready for summer and we just keep getting more snow. It has snowed almost all day today-when yesterday it was warm enough to go outside without a coat. Oh well I guess we need the "moisture," I'd rather have rain.

Here is Zek with the cows! Although he hasn't quite gotten the hang of feeding them he does get excited when its time to help.

Starting to feel better :)

What a week! The kids have been so grouchy. I can't wait for everyone to be done taking medicine. I have decided that I no longer have the energy to fight with everyone-so everyone just argues with each other (Zek and Mya). When does it get better??? Oh well life goes on.

This morning they were playing so nice I thought I better take a picture, but sure enough as soon as I noticed they were being nice to each other and snapped a pic. The next thing I know they are fighting again. I am so grateful for my kids but sometimes I wonder what I'm doing wrong, or if its just the meds.

Zek had the book fair at school this week and you know the teacher just can't send a note home they actually have to take the kids and let them look and the books-so needless to say we had to go to the book fair with our change. LOL! We just had book orders a few weeks ago-isn't that enough? Zek also got a cow this week for him to take care of (yeah right) He named him Dewy from school of rock-when it gets warmer we will take a picture.

Mya is not sure about the cows but thinks she would like one too. I think mostly because Zek has one. So for now she will share grandpas with him. She is doing better (since this is the 3rd time she has had croop since Nov.) I am hoping everyone will be better by the time the baby arrives.
