So Serious!

I have a picture of each of the kids like this at about 6 mos. We had to wait a little longer for Chaysee to be able to sit better, so she is 7 mos.
Happy Thanksgiving to all! The kids have been wired all day. They couldn't wait to eat turkey and then they couldn't wait to make gingerbread houses. We bought a mini village this year, which the kids really liked. I don't advise the mini village, last year we made one big house and it was a lot easier. They turned out pretty cute, considering the conversation that was going on while I was putting the houses together and then the arguing over the candy. It was a great memory that I won't ever forget. We had tons of food and a lot to be thankful for. Mya really wanted to see little Damion, Scott told her maybe next year and then Zek said No I don't want to move again! We just laughed. He thought if we went there for a visit we had to move. :) Hope everyone had a great Turkey day!

Leaves are falling all around

Myas straight hair (left)

Princess fun with cousin Karleigh

On Monday Scott raked up a huge pile of leaves for the kids to jump in. They loved it. All I could hear was, "cannon ball!" Then leaves were flying all over. Mya thought it was the most fun thing to do, since you can't swim in fall. Chaysee was sleeping and we did not wake her to play in the leaves. I once heard, no matter what the time, never wake a sleeping child. Today I had parent/teacher conferences. Zek is doing great! He loves school and is a great helper to his teacher and class. The only thing he has a little problem with is writing and that is only because he won't slow down and take some time (he does not like this subject). Yay for Zek! Also today Mya let me straighten her hair-its really long it looked cute but I just love her little curls. She looks so cute in everything. She loves wearing everyones shoes around the house and pretending to be that person. If she wears my shoes then she is the mom and I am Mya. If she wears grandmas shoes then she is grandma and I am her daughter. Chaysee is finally starting to feel a little better, but only wants mama. The kids are excited because there is no school tomarrow. There was a free showing of UP today, but we weren't able to go, so I had Scott rent the movie. Zek really liked it, Mya was too tired to sit through it. Now all three kids are in bed and I get to catch the end of the biggest loser, then do homework.
Quick note about the Christmas pictures. If any of you know my mom you know she loves Christmas. There is already Christmas music on the radio. So last Friday on the way home from school apparently Zek begged grandma to put up the tree and now it is up. Although I doubt he begged, he probably just said, "grandma, we should put the tree up." I am sure she said, "lets do it." Even if its early the kids are really excited. They already wrote their letter to santa and everyday I hear I want that for Christmas. Hope all of you are enjoying the Fall and finding things to be grateful for. :)

Late Halloween

I made these melting witch puddles for Zeks class party-they were a hit!

Ok so I know these are late but I had to wait for Tracy to email them to me. Zek actually went to school on Friday as a vampire and then on Halloween decided he wanted to be something else. We went through my moms Halloween stuff and found an old clown costume and thats what he was on Halloween. Mya was going to be Snow White and then changed to a cheerleader when we opened the bucket of old costumes. Chaysee was a bumble bee (myas old costume). The kids had a lot of fun trick or treating. (not Chaysee she got sick, thats another story). On Friday the elementary school called me and told me that Zek would be getting an award at school, so I went and come to find out he was student of the month for always helping his classmates and teacher. Great job Zek!
So on Sunday after church I took Chaysee into the walk-in clinic in Moses Lake, I swear she had croop. After being told she was not "sick enough" (how does anyone decide this?) we were sent home. We had 3 horrible nights, she ran a fever for the last 3 days. Finally I took her into the clinic in Royal today and come to find out she has a sinus infection and croop. Moms always know their kids best:).
